Russell William Hartigan, a Democratic candidate for Judge in the Circuit Court of Cook County, is an experienced trial attorney who has tried over 60 jury trials in State and Federal Court, both as plantiff and as defense. His cases have covered civil work, including casualty and municipal defense, workers compensation, personal injury, plaintiff arbitration/mediation and has handled personal injury defense for clients. He is also a major case mediator for the Circuit Court of Cook County and an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.
Mr. Hartigan has lectured and written on Jury Selection, Affadavits, Rule 213 Disclosure and Cross-examintation, as well as Law Office Management for LawEd series, ISBA and NWSBA seminars. He is a Circuit Court Appointed Mediator, and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
